Oxymetholone firstly introduced at the market as Anadrol by Syntex, was initially developed to treat people with anemia, and has since been used very successfully to aid people who are suffering from many other diseases where weight loss is a concern. Thus, it is clearly an effective agent for promoting weight gain, increasing appetite and gaining strength. This medication is a synthetic male hormone (androgen or anabolic steroid). It works by increasing the amount of the hormone (erythropoietin) involved in the production of red blood cells.

Administração de oximetolona:

Uma dosagem eficaz de oximetolona em sua forma oral seria de 1 a 2 comprimidos de 50 mg por dia.

Embora em sua forma injetável, uma injeção de 50 a 100 mg é considerada um ponto de partida.
